Our first microlot of the year is from Coopervass, Brazil. Luciana is a rookie coffee farmer who took over her father’s farm when she was 52. Her curiosity, eye for detail and love for innovation helped her to produce prize- winning coffees three years in a row. Luciana takes part in the Green Coffee Project, supporting over 30 farmers in developing sustainable -regenerative- production methods.

This prize- winner was meticulously harvested and processed: hand picked, sun dried during the day and stored at night in perfect volcano-shaped cones for temperature and fermentation control. It’s one of our sweetest coffees with a clear candy store vibe: red lollipop and licorice. But also the freshness of ripe papaya and white wine, making it a complex but balanced coffee with a silkyatin mouthfeel and a lasting taste. We love it!
