WHERE THIS COFFEE'S FROM.

This microlot comes from our partner Ontosoroh in Indonesia. The archipelago is best known for its earthy, heavy arabica from Sumatra and Java. But there is another part to Indonesia: the island of Flores, steep and green and largely off the radar to specialty buyers. Flores is where one of our most recent arabica coffees comes from. The Golo Labe farming community in Flores grows arabica high on the hills. We have been sourcing robusta beans from this island for years for our Spicy Robusta. A group of young farmers higher up the hills are now also putting arabica on the map.
