With an automatic coffee machine you can make a fresh cup of coffee with ease. By playing with the grind and aroma (amount of ground coffee) you can get the best out of the beans. It is often a matter of taste.



Tip:

Use filtered water. This makes the coffee even tastier.

This is what you really need:

18 gr espresso grind, timer, scale, tamper, (teas) cloth, cup

How you make it?

1. Remove the hot filter carrier from the machine, dry well and fill with coffee.

2. Press the coffee firmly and straight with a tamper.

3. Place in the machine.

4. Tap directly on the button that dispenses water (otherwise the coffee burns).

5. Place the cup under the spout, yes after you press the button.

6. Stop the water spout around 26 sec.

7. Measure the amount of coffee. Around 40 ml? Perfect!

Of course, we don't have to give you a step-by-step plan for this brewing method. Pretty straight forward. The important thing is that you can push a bit when putting the cup in the machine. Don't worry, your machine can handle it. And after use, the compostable cups can just go in the green bin. Well done!

FILTER MACHINE

This is what you really need:

60 gr filter ground, 1000 ml cold water, paper filter.

How you make it?

1. Fold the filter along the seam and place in the filter carrier holder.

2. Rinse the filter with hot water, this way you avoid paper taste.

3. Rinse the filter with hot water and heat the Chemex.

4. Fill the reservoir with water.

5. Turn on the device.

6. It lasts approximately between 4:00-5:00 min

POUR OVER

This is what you really need*:

18 gr filter grind, 300 ml hot water (90°C), V60 / Kalita Wave / Cleverdripper, kettle, timer, scale, (paper) filter, mug / cup / jug

How you make it?

1. Boil the water and leave to cool for 2 min or heat to 90 °C.

2. Insert the filter (V60? Fold the filter along the seam)

3. Rinse the filter With hot water and heat the jug.

4. Put 18gr coffee in the filter and start the timer.

5. Pour 30 ml water on top of the coffee and allow to bloom for 30 sec.

6. Starting in the center, fill the filter with circular motions to just below the edge.

7. Starting in the center, fill the filter with circulat motions to just below the edge.

8. Pour in occasionally with the same motion untilyou are at 300 ml in 2:30-3:00 min.

MOKA POT

This is what you really need:

Espresso grind, hot water (rond 80°C)

How you make it?

1. Fill the filter carrier with coffee, do not push, gently wipe.

2. Pour hot water (around 80°C) into the water tank up to the safety valve. Hot water accelerates the process and ensures that the coffee burns less quickly

3. Turn together and place over low heat with lid open.

4. The water in the lower container is now pressed through the coffee by the pressure and ends up in the upper part.

5. Ready? Remove from heat immediately and pour to avoid bitter flavours.

FRENCH PRESS

This is what you really need:

30 gr filter grind, 500 ml hot water (90 °C), timer, spoon

How you make it?

1. Boil the water and leave to cool for 2 min or heat to 90 °C.

2. Preheat the French press with hot water.

3. Put 30 gr coffee in the French Press and start the timer.

4. Fill with 500 ml of water

5. Break the top layer by stirring.

6. Wait 2:30-3:00 min.

7. Press the plunger down evenly and gently. Leave a little space between the plunger and the coffee on the bottom.

8. Immediately pour the coffee all the way out or over into a jug.


Tip:

By pouring the coffee immediately after pressing, you avoid nasty, bitter flavors.

This is what you really need:

30 gr filter ground, 500 ml hot water
(90 °C), timer, scale, paper filter

How you make it?

1. Boil the water and let cool for 2 min or heat to 90 °C.
2. Place the filter.
3. Rinse the filter with hot water and heat the Chemex.
4. Put 30 gr of coffee in the filter and start the timer.
6. Pour 60 ml water on top of the coffee and allow to bloom for 30 sec.
7. Starting in the center, fill the filter with circular
motions to just below the edge.
8. Pour in occasionally with the same motion until you are at 500 ml in 3:30 - 4:00 min.

AEROPRESS

AEROPRESS

This is what you really need:

15 gr ground koffie, 250 ml hot water (90°C), timer, scale, (paper) filter, coffee mug / jug

How you make it?

1. Boil water. Allow to cool for 2 min - or- heat water to 90°C.

2. Place the filter in the black cover of the AeroPress and rinse with hot water.

3. Press the two large parts together with the rubber part just closing the cylinder.

4. Put 15 gr of coffee in the AeroPress.

5. Pour 30 ml of water on and wait 30 sec.

6. Pour the water up to 250 ml, stir well 2 times and wait 2:00 min.

7. Turn the lid on the AeroPress and carefully invert it, placing it on the mug.

8. Now gently press on within 30 - 45 sec until you hear a hissing sound.
