This coffee comes from the central highlands of Myanmar, a country currently torn by civil war. Since the 2021 military coup, honest trade has become nearly impossible, yet our partner Khun from Indigo Mountain (see image) fights tirelessly to build a transparent coffee business against all odds. Every day brings challenges, from violence and power cuts to illegal trade that inflates prices for money laundering. By drinking this coffee, you empower Khun and local farmers to stay on their land. Together, we offer a safe, fair-priced alternative to an illegal trade system.
