SPICY
ROBUSTA POD.

In Indonesia, we work with our partner Ontosoroh, led by Andri. Since 2019, we’ve been collaborating with different farmer groups on growing and exporting robusta, including the Candiroto group on Java. On the picture you see Wahyu, one of the farmers from this group. For many farmers here, coffee is an important source of income and a good alternative as demand for tobacco declines - especially younger farmers are stepping in!

POWER HOUSE
BLEND POD.

This blend consists of beans from three coffee producing continents. It is made up of 40% washed arabica produced by our partner ZCP in Uganda, 40% natural arabica from our partner Coopervass in Brazil and 20% specialty robusta from our partner Ontosoroh in Indonesia. A worldwide coffee!

DECAF
POD.

High in the mountains of northwest Guatemala, the Chajulense people have grown coffee since the 1980s, introduced by priests as a way to build economic independence. They needed it. The region suffered enormously during the civil war, caught between rebels and government forces for decades. That history created a deep and understandable distrust of outsiders, especially foreign buyers who show up, promise much and disappear. It took us almost two years to earn enough trust to even have a direct conversation. That is fine. Some things are worth the time.

ORIGINAL HOUSE
BLEND POD.

This is Wakuli’s first and OG blend, and still a favourite! It brings together three origins. 40% of this blend comes from small-scale Brazilian farmers in the hilly southeast of Minas Gerais. We work together with our partner Coopervass on direct export and "regenerative" coffee production. On the shores of Idjwi Island, DRC, Marceline and Bertin source and process coffee under extreme circumstances in war-torn Eastern Congo, making up 35% of the blend. The remaining 25% of your cup is from the Kata Muduga Union in Ethiopia, with which we work together since 2021.

PERUVIAN
POD.

This washed arabica coffee comes from Alto Ubiriki, a producer group in the foothills of the Peruvian Andes - the Selva Central is a vibrant coffee producing region and a true melting pot of cultures as people from different backgrounds migrated there in search of a better life and safety. The farmers of Alto Ubiriki are a tight knit community working on regenerative coffee production in an area where deforestation is one of the biggest threats. Direct export of their coffee by our partner Cultivar provides farmers with the stability they need.

ETHIOPIAN
POD.

Wakuli works with the Kata Muduga Union. A large organization consisting of numerous cooperatives, each made up out of hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of farmers.. Our amazing coffee comes from one of the youngest coops, the Kolla Bolcha farmer cooperative (remember the name!!). In a secluded piece of paradise these farmers take production of coffee and the care for their valley super seriously.

THE FUTURE
OF COFFEE.

We work directly with farmer groups  around the world and are building towards fully regenerative coffee production together with our partners. That means when you buy Wakuli, you can be sure that farmers are consistently well paid, the planet gets more love and you drink seriously good coffee. Coffee that's good for all.

COMPOSTABLE.
