This microlot comes from Rosa Romero in Ocotepeque, Honduras. She’s a loyal member of Cafesmo, our partner since 2020. Her farm sits at 1,250 metres and grows varietals known for their complexity and resilience. The coffee is shaded by native trees and surrounded by guava, mango and banana. These fruit trees enrich the soil, boost biodiversity, and create a resilient ecosystem. We’re thrilled to share it with you!

Rosa processes the coffee 'naturally': the beans dry in the sun with the fruit still on. This brings out vibrant, fruity flavours. It reminds us of a pornstar martini: tropical and smooth, but not too sweet. The coffee has a silky body and clean finish. Enjoy it black to experience its full complexity, or pair it with (plant-based) milk. In short: seriously delicious.
