There is something completely wrong in the coffee industry. A handful of coffee giants control the coffee market. They rely on low quality, unsustainable coffee and are heavily underpaying farmers. And they're refusing to make a change.
We are here to change that. With Wakuli, farmers get paid really well, the planet gets more love and you get to drink amazing coffee. That's what we call real good coffee.

Specialty coffee is the highest quality coffee there is. Determined by independent Q-graders certified by the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association). They score coffee based on things like colour, consistency, aroma and mouthfeel on a scale from 1 to 100. A score of 80+ is considered specialty coffee.
What that means? That you always drink the absolute finest, high quality coffee at home.
Specialty coffee tastes best within a few weeks of roasting. That’s why we always send our beans within one week after roasting - shipped from our own roastery just north of Amsterdam.
Because we roast the beans light, you get to taste more of what origins have to offer. Think of funky coffees with taste notes of strawberry milkshake, chocolate chip cookies or red lollipop.
A new addition to compliment our 12 existing partners comes from the farmer group Alicia Roque. The group consists of 68 coffee farmers based in the region of Manabi in Ecuador. Thanks to this new partnership the farmers from this turbulent region have a bit more certainty. They know that they have a buyer for their coffee year after year. And for a good price too!
