WHERE THIS COFFEE'S FROM.

This coffee comes from our partner CBC in Tanzania, Wakuli's longest-standing partner. CBC is led by Adolf Kumburu and Thomas Ngapomba (see photo), two coffee veterans with the knowledge, the network and the determination to bypass a bureaucratic export system built to keep farmers out of the value chain. Every year since our collaboration started, the quality has gone up. We work closely on quality improvement and diversification: experimenting with natural and anaerobic processing. The next phase? The transition away from chemical inputs towards natural alternatives.
