ORIGINAL
HOUSE BLEND.

This is Wakuli’s first and OG blend with arabica beans from two of our partnerships. 60% of this blend comes from small-scale Brazilian farmers in the hilly southeast of Minas Gerais. We work together with our partner Coopervass on direct export and "regenerative" coffee production. Our friends from the Kinazi washing station in the south of Rwanda provide the remaining 40%. We work closely with Emmanuel and his team to improve the quality and yield of the small-scale farmers in the area.

MONTHLY.

For the past five years, we've been sourcing our beans from Emmanuel in Rwanda, who, through his company Baho, establishes washing stations close to farmers who would otherwise be limited to selling their coffee to middlemen. Wakuli works together with Baho to improve the yields of these farmers by distributing 500.000 young coffee plants to more than 850 farmers in Kinazi. The coffee is washed, resulting in this medium-bodied coffee offering flavours of cane sugar, apricot, and orange.

POWER HOUSE
BLEND.

This blend consists of beans from three coffee producing continents. It is made up of 40% washed arabica produced by our partner Rebuild Women's Hope on Idjwi Island in eastern DR Congo, 40% natural arabica from our partner Coopervass in Brazil and 20% specialty robusta from our partner ASNIKOM in Indonesia. A worldwide coffee!

SPICY
ROBUSTA.

This robusta coffee is brought to you by the Rende Nao farmers and is grown  on the Indonesian island of  Flores. 251 farmers work on the beautiful yet steep hills of the island to produce this high quality spicy robusta. A real challenge, but one that they are nailing. And they have been able to increase the quality to a level where we feel confident to offer it as a single origin coffee to our specialty loving audience. This has resulted in an 86% increase of price received by the farmers.
