This is Wakuli’s first and OG blend with beans from two of our Latin America partnerships. It is made up of about half of arabica beans from Coopervass in Brazil. Here we work with small scale farmers in the hilly South East Minas Gerais on direct export and towards 100% “regenerative” coffee production.
Our friends at Cafesmo in Honduras account for the other half. Buying coffee from them helps to reduce mass migration out of El Pinal, and make coffee farming a sustainable option for future generation of farmers.

This month, our coffee comes from Jimma, Ethiopia. Maintaining direct relationships with producers here can be challenging, and communication isn’t always easy. But it’s worth every effort—this coffee is a true gem. In the highlands of the Jimma region, farmers grow their heirloom coffee under the shade of the forest, just as they have for centuries. You'll taste jasmine and gummy bears, with a new addition: apricot notes!
This blend features coffees from three coffee growing continents. It consists of 40% arabica beans produced by our partners from CBC in Tanzania, 40% arabica beans by our partner Coopervass in Brazil and 20% robusta beans by our partner Asnikom in Indonesia. A real world wide blend, indeed!
This robusta coffee is brought to you by the Rende Nao farmers and is grown on the Indonesian island of Flores. 251 farmers work on the beautiful yet steep hills of the island to produce this high quality spicy robusta. A real challenge, but one that they are nailing. And they have been able to increase the quality to a level where we feel confident to offer it as a single origin coffee to our specialty loving audience. This has resulted in an 86% increase of price received by the farmers.
