THE STORY
BEHIND THE COFFEE.

This robusta coffee is brought to you from ASNIKOM,
our partners in Rende Nao, a village in Flores, Indonesia. Here we are part of one of the most radical projects we’ve seen to date - upgrading the existing, low-lying robusta to specialty coffee standards to improve farmer income. By processing robusta beans with better machinery and implementing high
quality standards, specialty coffee is achieved. To continue this, we commit each year to paying prices on par with the usually higher priced specialty arabica, ensuring a premium that rewards quality and improves on-farm income compared to the historical robusta market. This way, we’re future-proofing Flores’ coffee together.

Once the beans arrive at our Amsterdam-based roasting facility, we roast them to perfection with a meticulous attention to detail.
